It’s finally time to share Ellie’s nursery! Overall, we went for a neutral color scheme with feminine and frilly elements. It turned into a subtle “Twinkle Twinkle Little Star” theme as I found neutral items, clouds, stars and sprinkled Metallics throughout the room. There are a few touches of pink, but I didn’t want anything too bright, so I went for soft tones if any. Many of the pieces are ones I can use again for any gender, since this is our first baby.

I added a personalized name puzzle stool (which we received as a gift) that I think adds a nice highlight to her play corner. The corner adds a girly touch to the room with a soft rug, hanging canopy, metallic pillows and a wooden activity gym.

I’m In love with our Babyletto furniture, especially the functionality of the changer dresser. I mainly keep her current size onesies and sleep n plays in there, along with burp cloths and bibs. On the right side I keep diapers, wipes and other baby care necessities. The crib is the Babyletto Hudson model and I love now sleek it is and how it matches the feet on the dresser.

The hanging shelf above her dresser comes with hooks which are perfect for bows. It’s actually a coffee mug/ kitchen shelf, but I thought it’d work perfectly as a hanging rod for her clothes! Scotty painted the shelf white for me, since I wanted it to go with the white furniture and bookshelves. I topped it off with her wooden birth announcement sign and Snowbabies, which our family collects each year at Christmas time.

I also love how her closet organizer turned out, since it’s something that not only looks pleasing to the eye but serves a function. I organized her shoes on top with a little tiered tray.

In the overhead bins I keep clothes that she’s not yet fitting into and then rotate out when she’s grown out of them. I added the woven storage baskets throughout her nursery for organizing toys, stuffed animals and blankets.
