I’m finally getting around to sharing our son’s nursery details! Now that he’s four months old and in his crib, I would have to say that the look and function of this room has been sustained. This time around, I wanted a nursery that was simplistic with a timeless color scheme for our son.

Blue board & batten accent wall

I was so excited with how our blue accent wall turned out! I tried to compliment the rest of the room with soft greens, tan and white to tie the room together. Ultimately, we wanted a space that was simplistic but would last him for years to come. The wall was done by Color Renovation in Cleveland.

Dinosaur details

One of the best decor items that added to the dinosaur theme were these footprints by the changing table dresser. I went with the natural wood tone which pops on the white walls. I found the other natural wood decor pieces to tie in with the footprints but add a little more color to the space.
Neutral bohemian organization

I found a rainbow baby dinosaur on Etsy that was a perfect decor piece to add to the room. Almost all the closet bins are from Amazon and At Home Stores.

The bamboo and sea grass bins have held up and add that bohemian touch I was looking for! Also one of my favorite items is the little acrylic shoe organizer to display those tiny shoes!
Simple and clean space

Ultimately, we wanted the space to feel clean and easy to maintain since we already have a toddler running around in circles. I’m really happy with how the room turned out and the simple organization of it. We did wound up adding a small side table from Home Goods to the right of the recliner so we could put his sound machine on it and have something to set a bottle on.
